The chemical Pyrethrum is an ingredient in shampoo used by adults and children to control hair lice . The chemical has been in use since the civil war to control lice. The natural source of Pyrethrum is the extract of chrysanthemum flowers. A natural ingredient. It is water based and biodegradable. It never leaves a residue. Since the Pyrethrum does not leave any residue and is biodegradable the finer you can disperse the solution the better the effects. The use of stainless steel, anti-drip nozzles that produce a 50 micron drop produces the necessary misting (fog) and keep the Pyrethrum in suspense for a longer period. Therefore this makes the solution much more effective in the prevention of repopulation of the insects.
